My SIGMA 12A turbo

ok these are the 1st pictures from the SIGMA kit for the webber 48IDA

need to finish the wiring (hoses, return line)

but enjoy and let me know what you think

any suggestions regarding the jetting would be greatly appreciated.

you definatly need to run a vacuem line to your fpr, that would help a ton. what urrent jets does the arb have in it? how does it drive now?

what is an fpr? I was thinking on boosting my 12a as well (I have a weber ida 48)

fpr = fuel pressure regulator.. if you look in the pic you will see a small bras vac. line thats open, that needs a boost source so the fuel pressure rises with boost.. very important..
also when boosting your IDA you need to replace your brass float with a solid one so it dosnt crush under boost.. luckily i sell the solid IDA floats

what's the max boost a stock 12a can handle safely? Mine was built by Rob at pineapple and as some extras but I want to stay within the area of a stock 12a. Safer that way.

14 psi.. there is guys that have gon higher tho....

14 PSI?! That's alot man, what would that make in power? 200~250HP? Can the rear-end even handle that? What about the transmission?

what about timing? I have a MSD box with the electronic ignition. How can you lock that?

it will hold as long as you dont use slicks or speed shift the tranny


send your distributor to me and ill boost prep it for ya, (lock it)

I know about the vacuum line.. right now I am just finishing attaching all the lines and vac sources.

it does not drive yet...... not enough time for the widebody and the Frankenstein

but by the weekend I will attempt to get her running..

going to be locking the dizzy today.

and tapping an oil return fitting sometime weds, thurs.

also would a GSL-SE pump be enough for fuel?
