I had a 914, what a POS. Iot handled like a dream but i like my 82' RX7 better. I had a twin turbo which i couldnt complain about, but they are made like crap. I had to replace the clutch bi yearly and it eats piston rings like a ****. Im 6'1" and cant fit in it anymore. my size 13 shoes were like shaq pedeling a tricycle; not good. Replace it with a rotary? That sound slike fun. Supercharged 13b? Heck ya!

Make sure you are looking at a solid 914. Many have rust under the battery box which is structural. I am sure there are 914 boards with what to look for when buying a 914.

Prosthetic head.
There was a Porsche 944 for sale by the owner within 4 miles of where I live...
The price wasn't too bad... and the car was in excellent mint shape with low miles. I wanted it sooo bad but it was just out of my price range at the time.
