My new electric fan install

Ok first off before every body starts choking in how e-fans don't help blah blah blah. My stock clutch fan was stuck and I had this fan laying around from my old parts bmw.

Started out in a big shrouwd so I took my pencil grinder and a carbide bit and cut the main part of the fan out.
Decided to try to mount in the factory fan shrouwd. Turned out pretty nice and looks clean, seems to be cooling the car just fine. Used some 1/4" threaded rod to make the mounting points.
Here's a few picks. Let me know what ya think.

Fan was from a 96 bmw 318 parts car I had.
Right now since I have a lot stripped under the hood i have it plugged into the cruise control plug so it comes on when I push the factory cruise button. Just temporary until I buy a thermostat switch. Also the bmw fan had an extra wire for the ac switch that I wired into the mazdas ac switch so it turns fan on if I turn ac on.

Right. I know I supposedly don't gain but it seems like it. But probably just in my head lol. I know it takes more power to run because of alternator load but when it's off it should help a little you would think? And anything helps the motor from bogging down when I turn the ac on.
