If it were mine I would do the engine a big favor and replace that POS bee-hive oil cooler with a real oil cooler. That's about all the mods I'd do.

Yeah, I was thinking the same (I thought about exhaust too), but I actually think that in reality, I would keep it the way it is, just make sure nothing leaks. Hell, these engines have made it plenty long with those oil coolers, why not leave it on and keep it all original .

I had the same thing planted in my mind, but tell you the truth if I had money for both,Turbo is the way to go,You can only get so much from a Supercharger,

Turbo you can bump that boost up,

I rather not even use a Supercharger if you dont liek the Turbo set up,Just save yoru cash and get a rebuild and a port job.

I don't think you paid too much at all. It's worth exactly what it's worth to you. You already said you'd have paid $3500, so look at it this way - you got a deal. $1000 less than it's worth to you is quite a deal.

It's all about priorities. I paid more not to have a sunroof. The headroom is less in sunroof cars, and I can't fit in those.

No way it is worth half what u paid you got gyped! Tell you what, since I'm a nice guy and all, I'll give you a grand for it ok? I just hate seeing a first timer getting ripped like that!

Hehe, all kidding aside, sweet ride dude. Take care of it. As far as the sunroof thing, I've always wanted to mod a REX to have a T-top. My '82 has a sunroof so I can't do that but yours on the other hand.....

I would upgrade the suspension and tires before bumping up the horsepower. Just my 2 cents.

Umm... I realize you meant this jokingly, but I have some very close friends that would get very upset about this comment. Just watch what you say, you dont wanna go pissing anyone off now do ya?

True. I've got thick skin so it's no biggie but others here will take offence.
