My Main Pully has no tiiming mark.
So i was going to time my car the other day and my pully has no mark for leading or trailing indicating the correct timing.. i checked it with my fingernail and cleaned the dirt off of it looking for paint but couldent find any i remember seeing a write up a long time ago about makeing them yourself but i cant seem to find it again anyone know
i believe you can time it by taking off the flywheel inspection plate, im not sure exactly how you do it, but there's supposed to be divits in the flywheel or somthing. im sure someone will chime in with it.
ill chime in for wacky here.
search. finding TDC or something of the like. wackys had multiple useful explanations in the thread on finding it, either using the key on the pully bolt or w/e of remving the inspection plates and using the indentation on the flywheel in a certain position to get yah close to TDC.

You sometimes need lots of good daylight to spot the old rusty timing marks. It's just a very tiny yellow paint dot on the farthest back side of the main pulley. There is a red mark half an inch to the left of it.
