my Hayashi Racing wheels (pics)
Firstly, I want to thank my bud that made it happen..He bought me the wheels as a gift..around 200 I think. Thanks man. I'm pretty sure the size is 13x6.5 but they are wider than the stock x wheels so should get some good tires. They're not in the best condition, but no curb rash, well, a tiny bit..probably going to have them redone..I might do that. How hard is it by your self?? well, enough talk, heres the pics.

They look nice. I had similar ones on my old FC They were all silver and thicker mesh, but Hayashi Racing.

So like, what's the big deal with all these old rims? Is it that they fit the 1st gen that makes them worth something or perhaps they capture the era's look? They look like knock-off BBS rims of the time and those don't cost much these days. My 85 se has 15x7 TSW Hockenheim R's (on the heavy side, but I didn't know any better when I was that age) and everytime I see my car looking all old and crap, those rims just make the car look sharp.

you can repair curb rash, but i'd probably let a wheel repair shop do that. They weld extra metal around the edge then put it on a lathe to straighten it. looks good as new.

I've never seen wheels like that on a first gen, very nice looking, I'm sure they are rare. Hard to find rims are great because everybody and their momma wont have the same thing that you can buy on the corner.
