Hi guys, Today I bought my first car..an '85 RX7 GSL, it looks great, and runs alright at 152k miles. I don't know much about cars, I can do small stuff, but I have to figure everything out as I go. Tomorrow I'm planning on chaning the oil, tuning up and flushing the radiator. My question is mainly this, the car doesn't have a lot of power, I don't really know where to start troubleshooting that problem. Please use layman's terms in response to this. Thanks alot

 

Oh yea, the car also doesn't idle very well, it kind of pulses, anyone know why that'd be?

 

i would do all the basic maintenance stuff and see if it runs any better - get new spark plugs, new fuel filter, oil change, etc.
