What was your time? I wish I coulda made it to this one. My car is obviously not ready yet for the season. I was suppose to drive an AE86 but it broke down over the weekend. Did you have any videos of the gunmetal FD rx7, black FB rx7, White mr2, And Maroon SR20 240? Those are all my peeps

49.598 (DNF) missed a turn
48.971 (wanted to make a clean lap)
42.197 ( good lap got loose in 1 turn)
41.853 ( felt really good)
41.677 ( great run on stock tires)

No i didnt get any video's of Danny or Jacob and I raced the 2 MR2's. I ll be moving to EM next event. I raced ES but was really out there just to have fun and I had a blast. You should have showed up I would have let you use my car for a small fee.

I, too, went Auto-Xing yesterday. Brought home the CSP trophy.
Even though my time wasn't the best, I feel I did pretty good. My Best time was 61.3, while the FTD went to a 20B Miata at 48.8. Yes, we had a rather long course, which really allowed the higher HP guys to cut some pretty quick times.
I was on fresh street tires, with ~100 miles on them, so they were still a little greasy feeling.

You did pretty good nick... but that 7 wasn't nearly out of control enough! You should have came over and got a ride with me! LOL! I need race tires so bad. Street tires just don't hold with the power I'm putting down.

My best was 36.1 and I know I could have gotten down to 34-35's if I could have gotten one more run. Jacob's FD finished behind me with a 36.3

Yea i was working when you all was racing and i was racing when you all was working. Yea you was WAY out of control. I ll be at the next event at the knox maybe we should all get together and ride in a group. I am thinking about either buying a ported motor or porting my extra 12A motor. Let me know what you think danny. O and they let me know next event I will be in EM.

I think that a guy named josh(not josh rx-7) may be buying it and putting it in my old car, not sure yet though.

Your car looked nice, but i was faster than you, 39.929, oh yeah.

I'm waiting to see if anyone got any pics of our cars yet.

Here's a pic from the only time I went autocrossing with my 85 gsl-se. I got stuck into some highly modified class because i had a different air filter on it and got my *** handed to me, oh well it was still fun.

Cheap fun, for sure!

I can't watch the video from work, but I'll try to do so when I get home later. If you want to check out a couple of my vids from last year, just search for Kentetsu on www.youtube.com

Awesome! I've been meaning to get out the the local AUTO-X for my first time too. I'm running a pretty stock car 85gs, header, cat delete, removed rear sway bar, and new gas OEM replacement shocks.

I was wondering what tire pressures all of you are running when auto X'n?

I'm running slightly lower profile 195 60 r13 Sumitomo's.
(pics here https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...highlight=tire)

Can't wait to try out the 12a RX through the turns! It's out of it's element at the drag strip!

I run the 205 Sumi's at anywhere from 45 - 55 psi for racing. I need the higher pressures to compensate for sidewall rolling, but with the 195s on there you might be able to run lower pressures than that...
