Is my clutch slipping?

When droping the clutch wot from 1st to 2nd my car used to start fishtailing. Then the next day I cant get it to sqeel into 2nd. Instead the rpms stay up for a sec before the car starts pulling again.

Yeah. You need a clutch.... Don't abuse it... It might last longer.....

yep, clutch is glazed over and dead... be nice to it if you want to continue driving your car. When my last clutch started dying, it would still spin tires in 1st and 2nd regardless, but every time I would WOT slam it into 3rd, it would catch at like 6k, then slip its way down to 3-4k and then start the rev's would climb like normal

That sucks. Make sure to get a clutch worthy of a turbo application to prevent failures after the swap.

Easiest way to test a slipping clutch is to get on the highway in 4 th gear and then floor it. If
the rpms climb but the speedo doesn't then your clutch is slipping. Sounds like your already
seeing it in 2nd.
