My car is suddenly running rich..
What caused this, i did some work on my blocker plate, sealed it up good with jb weld. I unhooked the battery for a little over 10 minutes and hooked it back up, i let it run for a while and idle... then i take it out and let off the gas, as soon as i hit it again a huge fireball shoots out my exhaust and it backfires louder than a 12 gauge... i don't get what's up with this.

Do you mean the carb spacer? You could have sealed a tiny vacuum leak that your carb had been tuned to overcome. When you sealed it up well, it made your carb idle rich.
