Ok guys, I know you all like the ATF pics...Well I get that EVERY morning when I start my car. She has a blown seal somewhere, and likes to smoke A LOT on start ups, only when cold though. It smokes the entire time until the choke turns off, its rather embarassing if you actually want to leave your drive way. Of course, we just moved to an appartment, and I ve only started it twice in the monrings (I usually start it in the afternoon) around 10-11 am, and got complaints about the smoke filling up peoples appartments from their windows being open, and the noise is too loud (blown out exhaust)...Oh well, f**k em if they cant take a joke .

So the Circus truck driver goes to check on the mechanic's progress... the mechanic looks at him, concerned, and says "looks like you blew a seal". The truck driver's face screws up with rage and embarassment as he says "Leave my personal life out of this and just find out what's wrong with the truck!"

 

White smoke at start up indicates a failing water seal and is definitely NOT normal. One puff of blue (oil) smoke at initial start-up is normal.

No it goes like this...A penguin was driving along when all of a sudden his car quit. He coasts into the service station and finds a mechanic. The mechanic says he can fix it, it'll be about 30 min and it'll be done. So the Penguin says ok, I'll be back in 30. The penguin goes across the street and has himself a nice big ice cream sundae. Then he goes back to the garage to find out about his car. He walks up to the mechanic who pops his head out from under the hood and turns to the penguin and says "looks like you blew a seal". The penguin looks back at him and says "nope it's just ice cream".

 

 

HAHA.... I remeber mine used to do that... used to smoke forever at startup... the great part about it was sometimes while driving on the freeway, I would get a little into it then let off. it would let go a hugh, stinky, smoke cloud... it was a great way to get rid of tail-gaters... hehe
