my build with pics!

and it was suppose to be a simple motor rebuild...
[
until i realized the frame looked like this

looked a little deeper, and found this behind the rear drivers side tire

so, i did what any logical person would do. i bought a rust free body and started to swap parts!!

thats all for now.

Welcome to my world... Rust rust rust, though yours is more extreme.

What the hell happened to that spring?

Somedays that's the only way to go. Engine bay prep work looks great. Interested in the spring too. Did someone heat it up to try and lower the suspension?

thanks for the comment. you are right about the springs, they were heated and dropped. i loved the stance it had, and the wheels tucked about 1/4" above the fender lips (top of the tire was hidden by the fender). i put the other springs on, but now i have about a 4" gap. the car is still pretty much stripped though, so maybe they will settle. if not, guess i'll have to get some coil overs whats the best way to get about a 1" gap all around?

yeah all my **** sits low....JR sit a little lower then blue, thats because jr has...
Eibach Springs, I think thats what you need to go with greg.

lets see what happens when we put more stuff in the car, it should sit a little lower. I think your gonna like this car much better. with the new motor setup, and the low end. oh yeah..............

they worked good for the old look

but this build i want a real sleek and clean look. debadged, high gloss jet black, slight polished accents, red/black interior and engine. just a pure panty wetting sex machine
