My baby has cancer (RUST)

Man .. sad day.. ok I need a beer (Ahh got one) and a chance to vent, since my girlfriend doesnt understand (just get a Focus or something since you like these little cars.. ) (Grr!!)

Im changing my shocks. Had to because my stupid rear sway bar bolt snapped so every bump was a huge clunk right. Im thinking easy job. Since I have these shocks for my old now departed 79 Gs I can just throw them on this car (They fit!) . Wow when I took the interior panels out, I saw I was missing part of my car. The wheel wells were really rusted (Ie as in rusted through in spots) and the passengerside is horrible. One of my links for the rear axle has half a bracket left attached to the frame. I actually felt tears welling up in my eyes. I think this means unless my soon to start welding class allows me to repair my car I need a rust free (or fairly rust free) car to start over with Gawd. I just need to win the lotto or something I have the worst luck. And its a GSL-se so who knows maybe I will part it out. Sad since I finally got all my apex seals going again. Low compression wasnt a bad Apex seal it was a stuck on that popped out after 2 seafoams and a mmo treatment (at least it suddenly got 110-120 on all chambers after that and it hasnt gone back down.) Soo.. anyone got a FB body for sale close to dc?

Dont sell or part out. replace if you can, and POR-15 what you cant.
