Saturday night I parked my baby in front of my Fiancees house. She lives in a very good section of Long Island.

We went to a Halloween party and on Sunday morning when I went to fetch my baby someone had broken into her.

Must have been kids.......

Tried to steal both of my amps by prying them off... Ha Ha (4 3" screws through the back deck and into 2x4 strips inside the cubbies) that didnt work.

They pulled up the carpet in the rear???????? ( i have know idea why they did this)

They stole my Cell Phone Charger...... (Damn that was bad)

They did manage to get off with my CD book with just over 100 CD's in it.....( Thank god I have all of them on ITUNES)

The think that perplexes me the most is they didnt touch either one of my crossovers or tweeters.

I also have a CDXC-910 CD player MSRP $900. (they didnt even touch it)

I have a brand new set of Alpine 5.25"s that were just sitting in the front seat waiting to be installed (didnt touch them either.)

All and all a very interesting break in I guess.

I am really starting to hate the human race. If you have something and I want it I steal it?????

I wish one of these punks had the ***** to come to me and try and take my stuff.

that sucks ... and I was mad at what they did to me ... i had green spots everywhere on my car on saturday, and this morning i come back out of school my valve covers were missing on the front wheels and I had 2 flat tires ... good thing there was a garage right across the street, plus there was spit on my windows ... seriously people need to respect other peoples belongings.

 

just goes to show you that most kids don't know what anything of value is...sucks that you got broke into but good that they didn't know what to take...

 

hm. somewhere i saw a system that installs teargass canisters in your car in case of a break-in. i wouldnt mind, not like anybody drives with me willingly, and im kinda acclimated to the stinging.

now i need to put something valuable in my car to justify the equally expensive gas system.

 

That is definately something to look into.... Lets see, I know I have some extra CS pellets laying around... hehe

if some one did that to my car i would wait intill they are by them self and beat the living crap out of them with a bat. and i know my dad would do the same thing.

 

i cried, when they broke into my house while i was moving and stole some boxes with most of my single turbo upgrades in them, made a police report...... its been months and nothing.

now im just waitng for some1 to cross my path and do something to my FD again. **** aint even funny!

Thats why i installed the top of the line Code Alarm in mine. Even though ixlive in a very low crime area, Tallahassee Fl, you can never be too safe. Have you ever seen the special on TLC ''how to catch a thief''? That show made me think..........So i am always gonna spend the extra money to assure that i dont end up sad and blue.

I worked hard for both my 7's. A 87t2 and 85gsl, I would gun a bitch down if i saw someone trying to steal from either one, and i know i would still be in the wrong.

Get a good alarm man it will make a difference.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Unfortunatly, that is a major disadvantage to our cars. Though we may invest an insane amount of time and money, the insurance company will always be against you because of their worth.

A few years ago, I had an absolute pristine GSL-SE turbo that my friend and I built. The car was like my living child. I always garage kept it during the winter months. My garage used to set about 100ft from the corner of a high speed turn on a back road. One late Friday night in December, some drunk guy trys to take that turn at 100mph in his Grand Am. He lost control, skidded over 180ft, and ran through my garage. My CBR 600F4i was parked in front of my Rx7. He hit my Rx7 so hard it basically took the rearend off. My CBR was tossed about 20ft. His insurance company gave me $1700 for my rex, and salvaged my CBR.

The moral of the story. No matter how careful you are,..... **** happens. Try to be as careful as possible and try to have a plan.

Yeah, I just wish people would respect other people's things. I would see people jumping on random people's cars at my school, because they are playing catch/tag/whatever. or push/throw eachother on people's passenger side windows/doors because they are playing around. I say make it legal to club someone for violating your property.

 

 

Sorry to hear that. I know how you feel. My car was broken into at the gym not to long ago. Didnt touch my stereo (Alpine) or my ashtray change, which I later counted that night, its was close to $20 (mostly quarters), they didnt even touch my speakers in the rear (i didnt have any of the rear carpet/trim in at the time) all they took was my girlfriends wallet from the center console. They didnt get my cell (sidekick3) that was in the unlocked glovebox. Odd.

I guess they went throught the sunroof, which i left about half way up. I went out to the car after the gym and noticed my door was unlocked and not shut all the way. And I know it was when I went into the gym.

Bastards were quick to use her ATM card though. Charged up $100 at a gas station about 20 minutes down the road.
