my 85...gsl...something perhaps

hey guys just got done monkeying with the new car....well not mine yet but working on it till i buy it off in the spring. after sitting for two years put alternator on, finished off removal of rats nest put battery in, cleaned off old plugs, sprayed starting fluid in carb. Turn the key and she started!! on the first try. Oh and it has ~150k on the clock. The last guy that worked on it was going to make it a race car so it has the SE suspension/brakes. To my suprise the headlights work dash lights, brake lights, all the good stuff. I just need to get fuel to the carb (changing fuel pump/filter tommorow) It also has tokico shocks in the rear.

Ok so its my first 7 whats that switch below the hazard lights? theres no actual switch behind it just a moving piece of plastic. It looks like a headlight thing with 2 arrows on it.

BTW: I need a balck streering column cover if anyone has one.

I will post pics this weekend when i get it home.

That switch is for flipping up the headlights when they are off. Good thing to do if there is a possibility of ice. Dont want to burn out your motors trying to open headlights when they are frozen.
