my 7 wont start

my 82 7 wont start and im thinking its cause of the 20-30 degree weather, would that be why its not starting?

It could have something to do with it. Adjust your carb and see if that helps.

its cranking it cranks for like 7 seconds then the lights go dim and the battery is about to die, everything was working fine like a week ago when the temp was in the 40's

Sounds like a bad battery. Do not push the gas anymore you might haqve flooded it and before the motor can turn the right rpm's to start, your battery is crapping out.

Get some jumpers and try to start it. But do not push the gas, you are gonna flood it.
