my gfs 81 has a home made header, running through a pair of glass packs. you can imagine what that sounds like

Since were mainly talking about the RB exh. What do I do with the little hose that went into the cat? I have the RB exh for the 84-85 Auto. If anyone knows, thanks a bunch.

zyrano, i'm pretty sure the rb muffler would be quieter than the stock one. like i said, i haven't heard one with their system minus the presilencers. and i know their muffler is pricey but think of it this way, u'll never have to buy another one. on a stock port, the short primary setup is all u'll really need. and i guarantee u'll be happy with the quietness.

pen two, sounds like ur stilll running alll the smog stuff. unless u absolutely have to have it in ur state, get rid of it.

I would have to say if you are going with anything but racing beat... Go with Magnaflow! Price is great, I love the sound, and they have an excellent warranty (lifetime!).

loud? Drive my car and ask yourself why not go with racingbeat. I have road race headers to a single presilencer (don't think it does much) to a weapon r muffler. Yea it's pretty loud. I'm actually considering purchasing the center setion of the RB Road race exhaust and seeing if that quiets it down. I don't know what will happen but I can try. But I have to find a way to save up the money somehow.
