Muffler for 84

I just dropped a new 12A in this 84 i have and now its exhaust time because my exhaust is ancient and falling appart. Converters are clogged and ect. I was wondering if there are any Headers and Mufflers that u guys like better than most. Mainly im just looking for some opinions to help me find what im looking for.

I was thinking of doing a racing beat header and a apex muffler and all the exhaust strait threw no converters or anything ( we dont have vet here) = ).

But i would like to see some of your opinion on what you like.

If you can afford it, get the complete RB system. Nothing better out there in my opinion...

I have the Full street-port Racing Beat exhaust with long primaries (w/ presilencers) and it makes a noticable power gain with my stock NA 12A engine. I've kept all the emissions and simply let the air pump blow to "nothing", and STILL get a power gain. Just do a swap-back-to-stock for annual inspections. Once you get your inspection sticker, go home and put back on your Racing beat system and shelf the stock pipe assy for another year.

The original fasteners may be a hassle to remove. Scrap them. Buy all new fasteners and keep in a ziplock for later use. BTW, This also gives you a good reason to thouroughly inspect the underside of your car once per year, too.

Where would be the best place to get this RB system. And is there anyway i can leave out the silencers = P. We dont even have a vet here and there are no exhaust rules by law.

Im looking to keep this straight threw but i hear alot of good stuff about the RB system is there anwhere that u all like buying these parts from better than others?

Im wanting this to happen soon and possible a better carb too. This stock carb isnt working out real great with the street port. I was thinking of changing my jets to see if i could solve this problem.

Trying to get my N/A 84 to run the best it can
Thanks
Jordan
