MSD ?'s

When plugging in the MSD 6A into the ignitor on a 12A, which wires go where. Green to green, right? Then purple to the other side? Thanx

NO - it does not go Green to Green - wire it the other way (i forget the colors but I am sure you don't match the greens). Do a search or go to the Mazspeed forum for a write up in the facts section

Go to the yawpower site...he's very specific on the colors...

I have a wiring diagram for installing the MSD6AL, I think it would be the same. There are two wires coming out of the distributor that are red and green. These attach to the red and green wires of the MSD unit as follows (red to green and green to red). Ok, there are five more wires coming out of the other side of the MSD. Big red and black (go to the battery). Little red goes to a hot ignition wire. The orange and black that are together go to the 2nd gen coil (black to negative, orange to possessive). Good luck!
