msd ignition system question

i am installing a msd 6al today. i am going to use a second ghen coil and was wondering if i can use the 2nd gen distributer. it would look much cleaner. i am planing on doing a direct fire system so i will not be using the cap and rotor. i would like to see some pics on some other msd setups you guys have. thans for any help!

Use the stock dizzy and be sure to use the FC's coil only. Let me say it again: DO NOT USE THE FC IGNITER AS IT WILL BLOW UP YOUR MSD 6AL. Just cut the wires from the FC coil to the igniter.

thanks i know about the ignitor thing. so you would still fire through the cap or run the leading wires strait to the plugs for the coil. and fire the trailing through the cap?

Werd,
Go to http://www.smbaker.com/rail/msd6a.html to get the MSD install. Step by step and looks quite easy to do. Shawn
