mounting a fuel pump

hey, I'm mounting a new carter fuel pump and the only place i can find to mount it is at a 45 degree angle, will it hurt anything to mount it that way?

Heres a pic of how mines mounted, almost vertical using 2 of the the 3 bolts.

I have mounted three just as pictured above, and have had zero problems with it.
