I was wondering if I can take an exhaust of a yamaha r1(they are made out of titanium) and put it on a 85 rx-7 engine???

 

Lmao!!! I suppose you could, after all, you can do anything you want, but it would restrict your exhaust flow. I'll bet it'd sound pretty cool though!

"Hey guys let me start up my car and show you my new exhaust."

Engine revs to 5k and the exhaust explodes off killing an innocent bystander.

 

I'm guessing you're thinking of using just the muffler. I wouldn't knock the idea, I rally race with a few guys who use ATV mufflers on thier VWs. They do it becuase the mufflers won't let water and gunk backwash into the exhaust. What you'd have to find out is how big the pipe is and how much the muffler is expected to flow.

Actually I know someone who has done this. He used two honda bike mufflers and put it on his 7. sounded pretty good, but i wouldn't do it personally.
