Most fun you've had in your 7?

I was just wondering what fun experiences you guys have had in your 7 or any other car. Personally, I was on my way to the river on some backroads wit ha friend of mine who had never ridden in the car and wanted to see what it would do. When I got on to a stretch of road I tohught was relatively straight, I revved through 2nd and 3rd gear, shifting at around 6k, when the road ahead made a somewhat sharp turn to the left, and there were cars in the left lane so I couldn't use both lanes to make the turn more gradual. As I didn't see that there was a turn ahead, we were going about 55-60 mph when the turn started. I kept my foot off the gas and brake and steered into the turn, and halfway through the turn the rearend kicked out to theright as expected. I countersteered and the car then kicked the rearend way out into the leftlane, countersteered again a few more times with the rearend fishtailing back and forth. We didn't know whether to laugh or thank God we were alive and didn't run off the road. Though a little scary at speed it was pretty fun swinging the rearend out. Sorry for the long post, anyone else having to much fun in his/her car?

it was raining and i had to go to work. i pulled up to a light and skidded to a stop. there was only a few cars at this light so i figured id gas it a bit on green. well, i gassed it and the rear kicked around and i started doughnuts. after about 3 in the middle on the intersection i finally got traction and staightened out. to my amazement people were out of their cars in the rain cheering me on. that was strange, but it was fun!

hmmmm..... i've had a lot of fun expieriences in my 7.

maybe it was the first time i took it out with my brand spankin' new liscense without one of my parents in the car. god damn reckless irresponsible teenagers :P

or is it when I have a long day, and just head out to burrow's hill (local twisty mountain road) to relieve some stress? That ALWAYS results with a grin on my face.

A empty parking lot just after it rains is real good fun too......, if ya catch my drift

or working on it? tinkering and fixing things is fun.

car shows are fun too. talking with people about it, and discussing things with fellow 7 owners.

idk, looking at is fun too. or talking about it. or just sitting in it making noises and shifting. I'd say it's just one of the most fun cars there is.

Back in NC I was bombing a back road (pretty usual in those days for me) and as I come around a curve completly ***** out, tires screaming, engine crying (somewhat muffeled '84 -SE) a couple is in their yard pumping their fist in the air cheering me on. So mid corner, at the limit I pop a hand out the window and give the peace sign.

Good times.

Almost everyday in my -SE back home was the most fun I had in a seven.

I would say one the best times for me was hearing my 13B PP fire up for the first time after install. Priceless moment.

4th of July night, this summer. 50 dollars for gas, 4 tires to destroy because I had brand new ones waiting at home, and a whole lot of empty parking lots and streets.

It involved autocrossing, a woman (my wife to be), and alcohol.

That's all I am going to say.

2 words: Open Track.

Of course, there have been several open track events I have driven my 1st gen. I still can't decide which was funner, going to MSR in Texas, or the local track that one session where the Miata tried everything, but just could not get by...........
I may not be able to out handle Miatas, but I can damn sure out pull them

Off-ramps and on-ramps to the interstate are fun. Any place with sharp turns was great.

It is impossible to have more fun in an RX-7 than you would by taking it to the KS rotary BBQ!

autocrossing back home. Knowing I can go all out, doing what the car was meant to do on a legal track totally legit.

get together BBQ's and poker runs back home.

doing the first burn out 5 mins after i got it and the kid claimed it didn't work ( had a dead battery and the starter terminals were dirty) so we slapped a good batt in and push started it haha then my buddy looked at me and said "light em up" so i thought **** it and dumped the clutch about 4 times.

or maybe

seeing my friends face after he said "nah dude i bet its no that fast ive been in faster" (faster to him is a pos camaro) and taking a local road at way more than he thought we could haha and never even felt like it was gonna slip.

or maybe

the first time i fully accelerated while turning outta a parking lot with the tires screaming cuz i was pissed at some local kids who said my car was a pos.. then came back through and they didnt say a word..

or maybe

the time one of the locals who thought he was a tough nut with and automatic mustang and i smoked him.....idiot he must not know that "the 7 doesnt lose"

or maybe

i nailed this japanese chic in the back.....haha i wish sex in the back of the 7 seems almost impossible but one day soon i will try.....

or maybe

the day that the grand prix kepted trying to pipe me so i took off and shifted in low rpms and still smoked him lmao more of a waste of gas then anything..

i think thats it...but ive only been able to drive my car for a few months so i havnt been able to screw around much
