besides my fuel line to the fuel filter being electical taped wrapped, the PO showed me how to open the hatch and fuel door with a 1inch. long wire because he "converted" over from the 82 interior to a 85 he forgot about all the other interior switches that operate these things. oh also he promised the motor didn't smoke. lol once i sat in the car it started smoking. oh also i had a grey LT. fender on a white car....... whatelse...hmmm... a carb that kept flooding. he had no idea why. maybe it was because he "modified" it. hmm i think i got more. i'll get back to this.... lol...

My ex roommate bought a 93 mustang. Very nice body, new paint job, nice interior. But he was having problems with the transmisson shortly after he bought it. He took it into a shop to have it looked at. They said it needed to be rebuilt or something, so they got the go ahead.

A day or so later he gets a call. Aparently the previous owner had replaced the transmisson before..... With a ford ranger transmisson...... They pulled the cover off the shifter area and saw the shifter was about a 6 inches closer to the dash that it was supposed to be. It had looked like the owner just cut the metal the took something and just bent the metal up so the shifter would hit the floorboard.

It was funny, my roommate paid 3k for it and then had to drop another 2k in a new transmisson/clutch/flywheel and to fix the floorboard a month after he bought it.

Well, my protege has a SRI on it. After a while I got inventive, and put the old intake part from the MAF to the block back on and ran the SRI from the MAF . instant CAI.

Luckily we have lemon laws here where if there is something major like that within 30 days you can get your money back, still lose the car though.

one of the PO's upgraded the front sway bar to the 18MM or whatever size it is...its like a 1 1/4 inch diameter...anyways, when he put it in hte didnt get the front sway bar bushings for it so he left it rattling and shifting around inside the bushing brackets...

passenger side ball joint had excessive wear and upin further inspection i found that the PO had replaced it but he put it in the control arm crooked....and twisted the control arm while doing it

PO used crimp connectors instead of soldering when he upgraded the speakers and tied them in to the stock harness which led to cutout fromt he speakers after a few years....

not exactly sure why but the lighter has been disabled...one of the PO's clipped both wires running to the back of it

tab on the rear defrost wires broke so the PO removed the rear defrost switch instead of soldering/replacing the broken piece.

PO stuffed a ball bearing in the shutter valve tube to the air cleaner to make the engine idle smooth and not honk when he hit the gas on my 83 also used a piston pin or something similar to plug the idle compensator vacuum line

clear epoxy holding dome light cover on to the mirror assembly....bulb burnt out shortly after i got the car and i chipped the epoxy away. currently running the dome light coverless
