more turbo questions - new rear end

I'm going to have around 250-300 RWHP when the car is done and i am currently shopping for a new rear end. I want something with limited slip and disc brakes. my question is whats the advantage of the SE rear end over a GSL one. would a GSL one be able to handle that kind of power?

Yes, the GSL can handle it. But as I understand, the SE rear end can handle more, not to mention you get the more popular bolt pattern. I see more advantages in the SE rear end.

I think so. The GSL has 3.909 in the rear. I think the SE has 4.11, but not totally sure.

Actually, I'm not sure on either number. I for a long time thought the non-SE cars had 4.11 rear end gears. But I have read differently in many places.

If you go with the GSL-SE rear end, you'll probably want to fit the front struts aswell, to maintain the stud pattern front to rear. That may require brake lines to be modded.

Otherwise, if it can handle the power, it's a good idea cause it's all bolt in, and that's always good. You can get different final drive ratios for it, depending on your wants and needs.
