Hey, looks good. I've not seen very many other yellow RX-7's, particularly in the US, but that color looks very similar to the one that I chose off of the 2004 Mazda-6 color plates.

What color code is that?

that's pretty nice looking. I'm trying to figure out what color to paint my race car, and that just might be it.

Any way I can reproduce that color? How much did the paint itself cost you?

Also, how close to CYM is that (on the 3rd gen)

Hey LongDuck,
Please send me some full size pics of your car. I've got a screen saver full of RX-7's and yours would fit in there real nice

are those the mariah louvers/hatch things? thats kinda neat, dunno if id want it but definately different.
Its Ferrari Fly Yellow, its the actual color
CYM is much uhm...softer I want to say, but it has mica in it, you just have to see it in real life, in most pictures it looks faded and not soo good. in real life it looks incredible.

as for the muffler, as far as i know the car is BONE STOCK performance wise. So no RB exhaust, just stock muffler. I asked that too when I bought it, looks great.
I do plan on getting RB exhaust though.
Used to brown/brown, dyed the interior, painted the exterior himself. all seperately painted, no hack job, engine bay, door sills, everything, real nice job.

anyone know if there are CF sunroofs and CF hoods that attach at all hinging points made for FB? I want to lighten her as much as I can without affecting daily drivability, I'm going to look for a non-wiper hatch glass, and then rip out the spare, jack, rear wiper res, and wiper pump, then some other **** later.

how much lighter would an all alum rad be then the brass core? itd be upgrade too since I live in PHX (scottsdale actually). got up to 118 when I was here last summer.
need to get elec fan, and maybe try to make a ghetto cold air, do igntion and **** too.
so much work to do

The FAD is a Kamei airdam designed for FB's, and still available through VB. The side skirts are factory Mazda skirts purchased about 15 years ago and originally on my SA22 (80LS).

The Mariah rear hatch takes some getting used to, but I really like the final effect, and it makes the car stand out.
