more info
The smoke is mostly white with a hint of blue till the engine is warm, then just white. The thick smoke lasts for about 20 minutes when vehicle is at an idle, or for about 10 miles when it was driven to my house after the trade ( the idling is what the previous owner did when he wanted to drive it).
I'd bet my overweight beagle that you have a coolant seal gone. Is there pressure in the radiator when cold? That's a sure sign as well, so is coolant on the plugs making cold starts very difficult. My engine is needing a rebuild right now due to this problem.
