I am confused.

Moonroof = Glass Top right?
Sun Roof = Metal top right?

So did you mean you just removed the black trim from around it and then just painted it with the car?

Is this not the Normal way to do it?

Sorry if I got my terminology wrong. Until I ran into this Forum, I didn't even know a glass top existed for these cars. It's just the regular ol' steel panel with the trim removed for a smoother look. No problems with leaves and stuff building up in the channels so far...

It is by FAR, the nicest, and classiest upgrade you can do to a first gen.

All that stuff was in the previous '79 that I destroyed. I had hoped to get it into this car by the time I got my signature done, but alas, it didn't happen. Right now, that stuuf is boxed. Once I finish my garage counter-top and shelves, I will begin building the sub enclosures from hell. All the wiring is laid put already as well as the sound deadener. I'll have a thread on it when I start for real. As a teaser, here's what I've got done so far, since I'm starting from the front of the car and working back...

Just curious,
Why would you need Two EQ's?

One for front and one for rear?

Exactly...by playing with the mid and high frequencies, I can keep my soundstage imaging up front and use the rear speakers as fill...
