It's "Moog" competition idler arm. Moog has been known for really high quality parts.

I put one on my car recently and can't say that i've driven it yet. But it is definitely alot nicer/better than the stocker.

Problem with the idler is it is so close to the exhaust that the bushings disintegrate from what I've read. When I looked at mine it pretty much fit the same bill. The idler arm with the ball joint doesn't have bushings to disintegrate from heat. Pretty nice little part, still waiting for mine to arrive

its a good part. you'll definatly see a difference in the arm when you get yours off. they're very easy to change.

may be a stupid idea ... but wouldn't we be able to just custom make a plate to cover it to help protect it from the exhaust heat is thats whats really taking it out.? It would be like a 2$ thing with basically 2 bends to it, and one hole ot get it mouted via stock bolts

just throwing this out there ... check ISC Racing and see what you think about their idler arm solution.

yeah, the bronze bushings. i've yet to actually eyeball them, myself, but that was what i had planned to do with mine until i learned that the MOOG unit is physically larger and more robust than the stock unit - so i decided to go with MOOG. however, i figured for those that wanted a solution and had coin issues, the ISC Racing bushings made for a great option.
