i would say the biggest thing to change in your carb would be the little flux capacitor needle they cant handle boost

What are the stock floats in a nikki made out of? On my holley I had to use nitrophyl floats. Brass floats crush and plastic floats crack under boost.

You should be good up to 5psi on the stock carboretor.

that may be right, but the stock nikki cant push more than 155hp so it would pretty much be pointless

Greg, I'm gonna have to call ya on this one, and ask just how you know that, and to please explain that to us all.

Well I must suggest that you need to do some serious research if you are concidering a stock Nikki for such an application.

I must also suggest that choosing the correct carb for such an application should be one of your lesser worries at this early stage.

i have looked in to this and found that it would probaly be easier and cheaper in the long run to spend $1500, and buy a 12a turbo from rotary shack...well put together factory turbo motor v.s. garage special...you do the math.....plus you get that cool red intake manifold.

If you are wanting to run 15psi then good luck with the stock 12a turbo, it is garbage and you will need an upgrade. I like garage specials!

Per the original question...... So what exactly needs to be modded on a Nikki to "serve up" boost?

of money?

Surely there are specific things that need to be done. What kinds of things are modded on it?

That's only when it's n/a, and it's about 140, not 155. When you go turbo with it, the flow doesn't matter nearly as much and you can get a lot more power out of it.
