EX Pres of DFW Drunks
1)full exhaust
2)intake system of some sort
3)remove accessories (smog pump, PS, A/C, elec fan etc)
4) ignition system?
To achieve your 15.3 goal you can probably get away with just the 1st two if everything else is in top order and you're a good driver. If you're looking for a timeslip run, don't discount sticky tires..
that's teh basics.. you want more details, just search around a bit.

Got Boost?
15.3 is easier if you start with an SE (13B equipped model), as they could run 15.9 stock. But I assume you have a 12A..... like rx7gslse sugested: do exhaust first, then carb/intake, then of course good sticky tires, and you should be able to do low 15's

"1985 GSL-SE" and your assumption is a 12a? get a racing beat header and make sure your 5th and 6th port actuators are working (this makes a huge difference)
