IA MO' POWAH!!! - Building my engine

So here I am at Trochoids house, letting the aluminum housings soak a bit. They got the RB Race exhaust porting done by Trochoid. Here in a bit they will be powdercoated chrome. The intake ports will be ported using the Judge Ito templates. After that gets done, the irons will be powdercoated candy purple. Hopefully the Ito templates come in the mail before tomorrow so it can all be ported and put together (long story - my fault)... Pics to come soon!

Forgot to add that its a 12A

Only noobs use the state icons in the main areas of the forum. They're supposed to be used in the for sale sections.

Good luck in all that powdercoating goodness. I don't believe in it for engine parts but it seems to work for some folks.

I haven't powdercoated an engine yet, but have recently learned just how easy and forgiving it really is. Way to go, dude.

^ Ditto on the Millenia. Nice cars. And, Ian is helping old man winter, I mean Prof T, because he conned a youngin' into shoveling his driveway by promising him money and candy.

*L* Nice port job, can't wait to see more pics.

My father had a 98 Millenia. Loved that car, the leather was the best I have been in. It didn't make you sweat. Sucks you had to get rid of it

Hey Ian,

Looking good man.

What exact powders did you use on that. I've been looking for a good chrome powder that we can use in Marc's engine bay and was hoping maybe you could throw some higher-quality pics towards my email address?

Jon

Yeah ordered the template from Ito and looks like the template wont show up til next week sometime so it looks like its time to go home. X-mas time and the post office dont mix lol. I will finish it all once it comes and I will post more pics once I get home and can get them off my cam and will keep this thread updated on the progress of things.

blmcquig - I came down on saturday so you would have missed out on the drunken craziness. Wouldnt mind an extra hand putting the motor together though. I'll call you and we can figure out a time...

Jon, Ill explain what to buy and best place to buy it once I get home and online later on.
