I would like to add "Marvel Mystery Oil" to my 85 12a to clean it
up a little, but I don't know how to mix it tui use as an Additive,
can any one tell me how much to put in a tank of gas?

I still have the oil metering pum connected, I just want to to
clean out any carbon that might be in the engine.

BTW I dont want a Ratio, I just want the number of ounces to a full tank of

I am not sure exactly but since you are still using the omp I would do about half of what it says on bottle. Maybe 3 ounces to full tank. Then run it to redline while driving a few times. Dont have to beat the crap out of it, just slowly take it up to redline. Doing that by itself cleans most of it up. I also noticed that my car smoked considerably more when using mmo. Dont let it scare you if it smokes way more than before.

That sounds about right. Also read the atf method in the how to thread sticky. I would just substitute MMO.

 

He is wanting to clean it up, not unstick it or anything. This is why I suggested not so much. I accidentally put in about 8 ounces in mine. I use the omp also. Smoked really bad for a while there.
