I have an 83 rx7 with a 12a. she cranked over and made a noise that sounded like a cracked v8, so I shut her off and checked for obvious problems. there were none so I went to get a better idea, but she wouldn't turn over. a couple days later I came back and she fired up, doesn't make a noise but has next to nothing for power any ideas what's wrong?

 

Well the restart issue could have been that you flooded it.

 

don't know what a "cracked v8" sounds like so without a better description of the sound i cant be of any help. maybe a vid of the startup?

 

She wasn't flooded starter wouldnt engage and I will post a running video tonight but the initial noise is gone just runs rough and slow
