Just got out, but for what it's worth
E-4 3C051 Stationed at Ft. Meade all of my time out of tech school.
Hey!!!!! I have a friend that PCSed there a while ago. SSgt. Walsh, he drives a 3rd gen MR-2 (blue IIRC) seen this car or maybe know him? He's also a chinese linguist, he would be a teacher or in class to become a teacher now.
Had my FB before I went in and had to work on it in parking lots and sometimes had misc. parts in my dorm room (you'll get funny looks when someone sees a front suspension sitting on the floor, but look at 'em like nothing is wrong).

Just separated last year active duty Army SGT. Was a light wheel mechanic stationed at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and good ole Germany. Owned my FB since 2003 and purchased it from a fellow RX7club.com member.
Active duty AM= Airframes/ structural/ hydraulics on an ea6b prowler E-4 I have 2 1/2 yrs left. I love metal repair and the rotary engine is very popular amongst our civilian in service repair team. I have fixed 3 FB's for retired enlisted civilians that still work on my platform of aircraft. So cool I think. Great thread I have wondered this for a while.

One (I think the last) owner of my SA was an O-7. He left his old base sticker on the bumper. Seemed he put good money into it but didn't know what he was doing so it still met the rust fairy.
