will a miata short shifter fit in a fb tranny? just wanted to make sure.

It's not a short shifter, it's just a shorter handle.

And as far as I can tell the difference is actually the ****, not the handle. The RX7 **** sticks up really high, whereas the Miata does not.

So, if you want the shorter throw, save yourself some dough and just get the ****, since that's really the difference. I can sell ya one if you need it.

 

If you're talking about the miata short shifter on ebay, yes, it will, according to an earlier thread. Search for it.
