Afaik miata booster is larger but i cant remember if it has 4 studs like the rx-7. Regardless, if its larger, what would you do withe the clutch master? When i did the fb booster swap in my RX-3i moved the clutch master about 1" out and at the same time, i ised the FB pedal assembly as the RX-3 clutch pedal pish rod was not hitting the clutch master directly since it has been relocated

i've never done it, but basically everything from the Rx4 to now uses the same 4 bolt pattern. so basically any Mazda booster should fit.

Now its confirmed that booster has 4 studs, measure how much bigger is a miata booster. Once you have that #, measure the gap between the fb booster and fb clutch master cylinder. Then deduct the difference between the booster from the distance between fb booster and clutch master. That will tell you if it will fit or not.

Iirc, Brake lines on the miata is on the driver side of m/c. If im correct, you may not enough room for brake lines if it is used on FB.

Nope but I have done multiple conversions on Old school RX to FB booster front and rear disk brake. Currently planning to upgrade the SA to Fc booster and 929 m/c

basically the newer boosters let you have a wider selection of master cylinder sizes. the 929 unit is 1" vs the SA/FB 13/16" (or whatever it is). bigger master = same brake force with less pedal movement.

another car to look at might be the Tribute/escape, its got a 1" master. the master and booster go bad all the time, so even the dealership stocks both, and its cheap...
