Methods i have to take to start my rx7

Hey i was just wondering if this was normals, i have a series 3 12 brigdeport, early in the morning i have to give her full choke. If i go for a drive turn her off and turn her back on again she will start no worries, but if i stall it or run it only for a minute or 2 i have to hold the accelerator right open for it to start, So i am just wondering is this all normal, THanks guys

Brendan

Yes, its normal, but not good. You must always warm the engine to running temp before shutting it off. When you dont and you hold the accelerator to start it, fuel gets into your oil system, wich is not exactly good. When you hold the accelerator you are flooding it, and getting lucky that it starts. What you need to do is remove the plugs and turn the engine over a few times, then replace and try. Also try to remove the blue connector on the front coil that should disable the fuel pump, then start it, itl die, replace the connector, and start again and it should run, but im not sure if thatl work on a 12a, or not.
