Okay. So here's two more stumpers for you guys:

This was connected to the rats nest which is no longer there. Is this hurting anything?

And this does pretty much nothing. I just use it to rev the engine when I'm outside the car since I can't reach the real throttle cable. WTF is it? It's not cruise, choke, or accelerator.

The top pic is part of the shutter valve mess. If the vac lines are capped then it's disaabled and disabled is good.

Top picture is Shutter valve as posted, wire it so it stay open and the butter fly stay straight up.

Bottom picture is hot start assist, used to give a little thottle when starting a hot car. That takes the burden of the driver from stepping on the fuel, risking the chance of flooding the engine.

I believe that shutter stays open all the time since it has no vaccuum. When I get the carb back on and drive I may not have to push on the gas pedal to start her at all. That would be nice. Thanks for the info. I may have to start weekly installments of "Where does this go?" Might help us nubs.
