Meguiars Nxt generation wax

Just used tha stuff today, 14.99. And wow, it made my car look really nice and it is still the original paint job and my paint looked pretty crappy. But i can say this stuff really made a difference and makes it look quite nice. I am taking my car to mexico this august, or i hope, to get it painted and the interior redone. I cant wait to see how great this stuff works on a new paint job!

Thanks for the info...I've seen that product advertised and wondered how it did. My 85 GSL-SE is white and it's just difficult to make it shine like I want.
When you get your car repainted LaRazaUnida, don't use that wax till you let the paint totally cure out first to not trap solvents in the paint. (maybe 3 months depending on type/brand of paint)

Just curious. Where are you getting your car repainted and how much are they charging and what kind of job do they do?

He is a family friend in Mexico and thats what he does is paint cars and does the interior. I plan to post it up with all the details when its finished. I am finally taking the car down there on Sept 9th. Im going deep into mexico into a town called mazamitla, its like 2hours south of guadalajara, beutiful place in the mountains, i love it! He told my dad that he feels like he owe us so much, so he is gonna do it for free, we are gonna just buy the supplies. Im getting all my dents, cuts, lop sided bumper , chunk outta tha nose fixed for free, easily a 2000dollar+, and gettin a jet black paint with a blue pearl coat. Then the interior is gonna be completely redone with black leather, i currently have cracked maroon leather, and black carpet interior and everything redone jet black. This guy knows his stuff and does beutiful work. People from all over mexico go to him for his work. He said he has specail things he does and certain details. For the paint job im paying 500(including fixing all, thats quite a few, bumps and bruises), and like 275 for all of the leather interior and recarpeting, painting, ect ect.. and it is all excellent quality. The car will be done some time in october ... a little bit of time without my baby, but i am really excited to see her be treated like she diserves! it will look great and be even better when i do my TII swap nxt year! I will post before and after pics of my baby's life changing experience..I am a lucky guy

Wax

Meguiars Is One Of The Best On The Market. Next Gen Is Outstanding. Make Sure You Clean The Paint Before Hand With Cleaner Or Clay To Remove All The Residues, If You Have Any Fine Scratches, Use Meguiars Scratch X,or Gs 27 Scratch Remover. They Both Do An Excellent Job Of Hiding Imperfections. For Your Plastic Scratches On Your Consoles And Gauges, Nothing Beats Products Made By Novus. They Take Faded And Scratched Parts And Restore Them. Meguiars Odor Eliminator For Your Interior Doe'snt Just Mask Odors It Gets Rid Of Them . T-wax Tire Wax For Your Tires Does An Excellent Job Of Keeping Them Clean. Meguiars Hot Wheels Cleaners For All Wheels Is Very Good, Napa's Aluminum Brightner Is Great For Aluminum Wheels And Parts. Lexol Products For Guys With Leather Seats Is The Bomb. Use Meguiars Vynyl Cleaner For The Rest Of Your Dash And Interior. If You Have Cloth, Tweed Or Velour For
Your Upholstery Use 3mmm Scotch Guard To Protect Them Against Spills
And Dirt Build Up. 3mmm Now Has A Cleaning Cloth For Times In Between Washes That Will Not Harm Your Paint. For Initial Washing, I Recommend The New Mr Clean Set Up, It Is Great. Put Your Soap In And Insert Your No Spot Cartridge And Off You Go, The End Result Is Great, Helll I Even Want
To Wash My Cars More Now Because Of It. Rx7doctor

I like the consept of meguiars cleaner wax and then the nexttech wax. Meguiars hot shine for tires, meguiars leather cleanerconditioner, then megiaurs next tec interior cleaner. I don't have any good remedy for rims except soap water and a sponge.
