yes, i finally edited this compilation of races... it's my first so don't yell at my loser skills on the software. i will get better, but anywho i'll set you up a bit.

My car in a nutshell = stock 12a w/ a stock FC s4 turbo. oh and the best part.... STOCK NIKKI CARB. 15psi... street tuned by ME! for more mods and pics click on my name and check out my site.

His car: 87 TII, Half bridge port 13B, 60-1 turbo, haltech, huge FMIC, the works i had him run his low boost for these races which he said he was hitting around 11.4 so i'll just go with 10 - 11. that still puts him over 300rwhp.

i have no idea how much power i'm making, i just know i NEED TALLER GEARS!!!! ahhhhhhh you'll see why. once i top out 4th i just shut it down while he's just getting started in his 4th gear

What does your friend's TII do in High boost? (Horsepower).

His speedo just seemed to take forever. I would have expected more from a half-bridge.

yea, it seemed that TII was taking some time to get up and going. I guess I get your desire for a 3.73:1 rear end gear, but in all honesty, I would leave it alone and take that thing to the strip rather than worry about highway racing, unless your betting the challenger some decent cash.

Either way, you can make side-bets at the strip, which is what I would do if I were you. You just have to put on a creative show and not let them see your full potential at first, maybe toss a few races against a guy, like two or three for $50. Then tell him "give me a chance to make my money back, one last race for all we betted, all or nothing" Then you kick his ***. You will already know his potential after the first run against him, so you can decide from there weather or not to pursue such a con..haha.

I'm kind of knieving bastard, but if there is the possability to get a return on your investment of money and time in your car, why not take it? By the way, excellent video and editing! I'm going to have to check out your site and your setup...

yea, he says he missed 4th on that 1st run, but i'm not so sure anymore. as i watch the vid it looks like he realizes i'm pwning him and he gives up. cause even thru 3rd i walked him. Altho, the nikki didn't bog out on that run and i spooled up instantly, the other two runs my **** was hesitating bad so it was creating turbo lag just like his... actually him and i were making full boost at the exact same time. i dunno it was weird. hhaha but i'm still happy all the same! WOOOOO!!!

on his high boost even before the half bridge he was doing 400rwhp, he hasnt dyno'd high boost with the latest setup, but i've been in it and even driven it. it's fuggin noice! hahaha

and as always, it's great to hear good stuff from you as your car is quite an inspiration! i appreciate you setting up the download and i'll definately get some in-car vids... maybe even tonite! with the ........... new setup? whats this guy talking about?????? cds00bsmg: going out and catching people on the highway is what i do... it's fun. altho we do it around 2am, so you don't get as many races as you'd like... but there's no traffic in the way i will take this baby to the track one day, but until i get some good tires on the back... it'll be pointless hhahaha

my TII is mildly ported @ and I'm running 15 psi making roughly 330-350 rwhp....oh and this is with a bnr stage 3 turbo.

Ok! I will let zac dwell in his glorious victory... Well not victory but fascinating accomplishment..

I own the TII... I can vouch for how fast the car is. I also wont make any excuses for the races. What happened, happened.. The crew we have in Charlotte can also vouch for my car.

I currently run 10 psi daily (which i ran him at) and estimate it puts out 300+. I did 400hp at 17psi with a small street-port and same turbo. I did 278@10psi, 358@15psi and 400@17psi. My best time in the 1/4 was 12.8@116mph and the turbo is a 60-1 t04b 57mm wheel, .70com, 1.15exh. The car has always had a un-perfect tune on it so I dont know where it runs at now. I did get a half-bridge done by BDC and he has sent me a base map that i have just been using to get by. I am in the market for a new turbo now. Cant decide on a t-70 or gt35r. So im ready for the big boys.

Again zac's car is a big surprise. Sleeperfc raced a bike in my car from a dead stop and beat it from 1st-3rd, I did the same thing with a 900rr. So the car is not slow, so that makes zac'x car sound even faster. Cant wait till sleeperfc turns his boost up so we can really have some fun..

SO why does it look like his cars rpms crawl up so slow?

 

because he actually has the gearing for highway his tach may be moving slower than what you consider to be fast, but damnit his mph is blazing by!

his car on his normal boost (only 14psi) "high boost you could say", would walk all over me. i just barely hang with him when he's at his 10psi (i thought it was 11) and to me, that's awesome! but alas, i have some tricks up my sleeve that are in the process of being done. i'll get another race in with him and hopefully i can edge out a little

 

42 HP with only 2 PSI difference?

Got any Dyno sheets? Vids of the runs?

 

must have been right in the efficiency range. i do know it made 400 at 17, cause i believe that's the one that popped on the dyno. that was before his half-bridge motor.

 

i got a video of the dyno pull... dosent show the numbers tho... so i doubt it will help.

there is a bmw local that picked up 50whp qith one psi increase..... thats what im talking about. 600whp m3..... damn i need a boost controller.


maybe we should have raced with the tii on high boost..... but that would be silly.
We have raced a few different cars against the tii on low boost... its like a progress bar. With fbii's new setup he should be ready to run the tii on high boost. we will see....

but im gonna pwn them all muwahaha
