Question Mazdatrix vs. VB carb rebuild kit

I've come to the conclusion that my carb needs rebuilding. I've been looking at carb rebuild kits for a little while, and I'm looking at the ones from Victoria British, and Mazdatrix. What have your experiences been with either kit? Also, what accounts for the radical price difference? The VB kit is $20, and the Mazdatrix kit is $83. I called VB today, and the person I talked to said that whats in the picture in the catalog is whats included in the kit. When I looked at the picture of the Mazdatrix kit on their site, they looked identical to me. What the deal?

I dunno what kit Mazdatricks sells, but $83? 96-555, GP sorenson, or standard brand is what you want. Stay away from Beck arnely. Your local Advance/Discount auto parts stores can get it for you. Like $40

I bought the Standard kit locally for about $35.

Mazdatrix sure isn't shy about charging up the wazoo, but they do ship faster than Racing Bleat. At least that's been my experience.

How come these kits don't come with a vacuum secondary actuator diaphragm? That kinda sucks.

I have no experience with carbs (GSL-SE) but when I ordered my Brake MC from Mazdatrix they were FAST. And it was decent priced, compared to the rebuild kits. Mazdatrix sure does know how to handle business. Hope that helps!

Just a note: The carb rebuild kits we sell are FACTORY Mazda OEM kits -- not any aftermarket ones. Mazda charges a LOT for them.
They seem to have the most complete parts included, and they FIT (nothing "generic").

Wow! Mazdatrix is a member here too! Now we know why there carb kits are so much, makes sense. I will still get mine for 35 or less though.
