Mazdatrix front brake lines (which is which)

I have the Mazdatrix steel braded front brake lines and I am trying to figure out which one is for the left side and which is for the right?

The lines look to be the same length but the location of where the brake line slides into that metal piece that comes off of the strut is fixed in a different location on each line.

It's hard to explain but that part that you slide into the strut, then put that "C" shaped wedge in is lower on one line than the other.

Does anyone have experiance with it? I don't have old lines to compare to.

thanks

I was under the impression that the lines are the same. If not, just simply test fit them. You can also compare the braided lines to the OEM ones and match them for position.

Thanks for the responses. Yeah, I thought they were the same.... I tried sliding that piece in question that's at a different location on one line than the other but it doesn't budge. I think it's fixed.

I think I lost the old lines but I'll take a look to compare.

OK, I found my stock lines, the piece seems to be in the exact same location with both lines being and identical match with one another. Must just be that the Mazdatrix ones aren't made to match. They probably just guesstimate where to put that piece. Im still trying to move that piece but that sucker isn't moving. I'll just see if I can put them on now.

thanks for the help
