Mazda Recycling?

Has anyone ever dealt with http://www.mazdarecycling.com/ ?

Just wondering what their service is like and how long you had to wait for parts. Looking for some parts for my GSL.

I usually dealt with Sun Auto, but they liquidated their operation sometime late last year.

Thanks,
Pat

i talked to one guy there on the phone once about some wheels they had in a picture. But they had already been sold. They seem like a pretty honest outfit. But ive never bought anything.

I bought a used driveshaft for my truck from them a couple years ago. It was a long bed and I had trouble finding one in the junk yard. They got one too me in 2 days for $125. A new one from Mazda is over $800.

I bought a rebuilt motor (their warranty is 12K/12Month)from them that lasted 18K miles only @ $0.097 per mile... when it got here it had the wrong front cover on it..a coolant nipple was missing.. From my past experience with them I personally wouldn't do business with them again.. your miles may vary...

cheers

FWIW - I called them about almost a year ago to find out about used 12A's. Even though I didn't do business with them, the guy I spoke with seemed to be nice.

Thanks for the input guys. Talked to a guy named Jeff. I'm only ordering a coolant overflow bottle and some exterior trim, so I don't expect any problems. I'll post a follow-up after I receive the parts.

OK, my parts arrived in less than a week. Other than some sludge in the overflow bottle and some old, dried out adhesive on the exterior trim (both cleaned out easily), parts look in better than reasonable shape.
So overall, this is a positive experience.

$40 including shipping. May have been a little on the high side, but I am glad on got the parts in good condition and in a short period of time.
