Good thing there is not an RX-6 car that would be confusing since the Apexi RX6 turbocharger is very popular for RX-7 cars

GAH!

No no no no no!

IIRC...
RX = Rotary eXport! They (for the most part) exported the car from the country. In Japan the Rx7 at least was known as the Savannah.

Therefore there is no "experiment" about it!

Noooooo!

The Japanese calls the RX7, RX7! Savannah is only a model badge, like turboII for instance! My car had the Savannah badge, but it also has a HUGE RX7 plate on it!

Any Mazda cars with an L besides the Great Rittle Car ?
Why do people think that Japanese people have a hard time pronouncing L's?? Its R's that they have problems pronouncing...

we established our Rotary export basis. taken from one of the oldest FAQ's and most knowledgeable rotary experts. no offence but you have not backed your self up. I will find the smoking gun, and if I am wrong I will admit it. But I am standing by the Export camp.

while our example weak, it is from a respected source. You sir have nothing except your own voice.

It's got an X in the name for the same reason other manufacturers use X in the names of some of their cars. Because it sounds cool, period.
