Angry maybe a fuel problem

i have and 85 gsl se and yesterday out of nowhere i lost a bunch of horsepower and now i cant go above 6000rpms. i just changed fuel filter and spark plugs if that could have anything to do with it. any help would be greatly apreciated.

What kinda plugs did you use? Your fuel pump could be going out, but thats sort of the last thing you test since they don't go out too often.

Look at the dizzy cap,inside mine did that and had eaten an rotor contact.

id dont have a carb, i got the 13b, i put in ngks. im not really sure what else i can tell u that might be helpful because i dont really have a clue what it could be besides maybe a tps issue, i do have a irregular idle whne i start thew car sometimes but it goes away aftger a little drive time.

i looked at the dizzy cap and all of the connections had some wear but none of them looked all that bad, how much wear would it take to cause a problem?
