Making Magnecor Custom Wires

Hey Guys

So since I'm adding an FC coil w/ T-Trick box I figured now would be the time to get some new plug wires.

I like Magnecor because of all the actual science and research they put into plug wire design, instead of the "brighter spark = more powah!" BS the other companies rely on to sell their wires.

And on the plus side, Magnecor will custom-make wire sets for you!

So now I'm stuck with a dilemma.

I need to identify the *types* of boot used on both the 1st gen and 2nd gen wires, so that I can instruct them on how to make my wires.

The first three wires are simple. They're exactly *half* the regular first gen plug wire kit. One wire from coil to dizzy, and two wires from dizzy to trailing spark plugs. Those can stay the same length and use the same boots as the originally found on the FB set.

The next two wires aren't that complicated either. They're basically the two coil-to-plug wires from the FC set, but cut to length.

Now there's the explanation *we* understand.... I need part numbers for boots (and I'll have to measure lengths) to custom-order these from Magnacor.

I found their parts catalogue, but I can't figure out which boots were included with which set. It gives a list of all the boots they have available, but I don't know which ones I need.

Anyone have any ideas?

Jon

I think you would just have to contact them. Because the make wire for both FB and FC so I would think it would be easy for them to just pull up both sets of wires in there system and see what size boots you need. It really shouldn't be to complicated IMO.
