lowering springs for a 83 gs

lowering springs for a 83 gs

i want to lower my car about 1.5''and i just cant find any the only ones ive seen are about .8'' or 1.0'' and those were eibech and rb if any one knows any good brands just let me know.

B&G lowers 1.4". I have em'. They're nice and work well with Illumina's.

How much do you have to work with? What do you intend to do with the car (is performance important, or just looks)?

You could pick up an entirely adjustable suspension, to raise or lower the front and/or rear of the car, by installing coilovers and adjustable spring perches. This would probably be the way to go if you intend to compete or if you can't find the ride height you want. Otherwise, if you can find springs that will give you the height you want, then that would probably be a little cheaper.

^+1 for respeed...if you want the true lowering..rb springs dont lower to much..but arent bad..

Yes, I just came off of Racing Beat springs. They handle pretty decently, but usually you will end up with a higher ride height after installing them. Many theories as to why that is...

I've got the Respeed coilovers now, and absolutely love them.
