low beam headlight woes

Hi all,

My high beams come on without fail but no low beams at all. After I drive around a few minutes with high beams on and switch to low - they appear. Is this a relay issue or simply a bad connection that improves with heat generated by the high beams?

Any ideas welcome.

The multi-function switch usually needs cleaning when this happens.

Here are the instructions. Note that sometimes you do not need to remove anything to get the cleaner into the switch. Also, pick the cleaner up at Autozone rather than Radioshack (twice the size and half the cost).
