Louvers: What do ya think?

Got bored today so I painted the louvers and put them on. What do you think? Wasn't gonna use 'em at first guess they gotta grow on me.

I think louvers are ultra GAY, but that's my honest opinion. Some other people may like them. But you did do a nice job on the paint.

Hmm. I am not a fan but I too think you did a good job. It does help keep the car cool but I think it is a rx-7 trying to be a 80's camaro.

My personal preference is for limo black on the rear hatch - easier to keep clean, more streamlined, etc. But that's my preference. What you like for your car is what matters. If you back away from your car when you leave her parked because you can't take your eyes off her, it doesn't matter if others like your louvers, or rims, or interior colours, or whatever

I used to have some on my car, looked pretty good with a black stock spoiler. I took them off to prep the car for racing and I have to say it does look a lot sleeker without them.

I traded them for a parts car this last weekend.

Nice paint job but in my personal opinion the cars look a lot better without them.

I've had mine on since a few months after I bought the car in 1978, and have always loved them. I took them off to paint them a few years ago, and I relly like the way it looks with them a lot better than without. Plus, they make a huge difference in the interior temperature, and help keep the carpets and trim from fading.

i think they look pretty good, but how's rearward visibility? It doesn't seem like it would be all that great

by the way, you can by 'em in the victoria british catalog, plastic or metal

I love them on our seven.

Here's mine, er my son's car with louvers, the $10 price at Pick-A-Part made them all the better:

Not that bad once you get used to them being there.

They look old school, but not bad. The best looking car I ever saw with them was the 76 (?) Celica Hatchback... The one with the tail that looked like a sixties Mustang.

Second best is the 7.
